Chest of Drawers Makeover

This card catalog inspired chest of drawers makeover was done by Emy from Semigloss Design with the color, Cheesecake, a touch of Pocket Watch metallic cream, and some Natural Wax!

Supplies:

• Cheesecake All-in-One Decor Paint
• Oval Paint Brush
• Natural Wax
• Wax Brush
• Pocket Watch metallic cream

This cute little chest of drawers is just 24″ tall, making it perfect for a nightstand, an end table, or even a jewelry organizer!

To begin its transformation into a craft station organizer, Emy removed all the old, outdated hardware. Then she gave it a good cleaning with a vinegar water mix.

To avoid bleed through, she applied some primer over the entire piece.

Three coats of Cheesecake gave Emy the perfectly opaque coverage she was after. Then she applied Natural Wax with a Country Chic Paint Wax Brush to give it a buttery smooth feel and to add durability.

Last but not least, she brushed on a touch of Pocket Watch which is a bright gold metallic cream to the pulls.

Now she’s all glammed up and ready for her new home in Emy’s craft room!
