A Family Affair

After the birth of her second child, Rosanne Korteland found herself doing more furniture projects around their home in Vancouver Island. Her love for the creative process sparked an idea for Rosanne’s husband, Jan Korteland. That idea quickly bloomed into what we know today as Country Chic Paint.

Originally from a small town in the Netherlands, Jan & Rosanne Koreteland moved to Canada in their early twenties. The couple soon fell in love with the Canadian lifestyle. Eventually, they decided to settle down and start a family in a great community, an hour from the province's capital of Victoria, British Columbia.
